Our Story
Why we started making toilet stools — and the simple values behind every SquatEase product.
It started with an uncomfortable bathroom
SquatEase began the way many good ideas do: with a family, a bathroom, and a small daily frustration. Ours was simple — bathroom time just never felt quite comfortable, and nobody could quite say why. The toilet was fine. Everything worked. It just wasn't… easy.
Then someone brought home a footstool from the garage "as an experiment." Feet up, knees lifted — and suddenly the whole thing felt different. Calmer. More natural. The kind of difference you notice once and then can't un-notice.
That experiment became an obsession: could we design a toilet stool that was sturdy, easy to clean, nice to look at, and simple enough that anyone in the family would actually use it? We tried shapes, heights, and materials until we landed on the designs you see in our shop today.
What we believe
Simplicity
A great bathroom stool should need no instructions, no assembly, and no maintenance beyond a quick wipe.

Every curve and height is chosen so your body can relax. If it doesn't feel comfortable, we haven't done our job.
Honest design
No miracle claims, no gimmicks. We make sturdy stools from honest materials, and we tell you exactly what they do.
What we promise (and what we don't)
We promise thoughtful design, sturdy materials, honest descriptions, and a 30-day comfort promise on every order. What we don't do is make medical claims: SquatEase stools are comfort products, not medical devices. We'd rather under-promise and over-deliver than the other way around.
